Important information about the limits and use of PDFemWord.

1. General information

PDFemWord is provided as a general-purpose document utility. The website and its content are for informational and practical use only and do not constitute legal, financial, professional or other specialist advice.

2. Conversion accuracy and formatting

PDF-to-Word conversion is not always exact. The current tool primarily extracts selectable text and places it into a DOCX document. It may not preserve the original page layout, tables, images, columns, fonts, spacing, headers, footers or page breaks.

3. Scanned and protected PDFs

Scanned documents that contain images of text may require Optical Character Recognition (OCR). The current converter does not provide OCR. Password-protected, damaged, unusually structured or very large PDFs may fail to convert.

4. Check the output

Always review the converted document before relying on it, sharing it, printing it or submitting it. For official, legal, academic, financial or business documents, compare the output with the original PDF and correct any errors.

5. Data and privacy

The current PDF-to-Word converter processes the selected PDF locally in your browser and does not upload it to a PDFemWord server. This statement does not automatically apply to any future tool that may use a different processing method. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

6. External links and services

PDFemWord may use or link to third-party services and resources. We do not control their availability, content or policies, and a link does not imply endorsement.

7. Use at your own discretion

You are responsible for checking that you have the right to use and convert a document and for keeping backups of important files. Use the service at your own discretion and subject to our Terms of Service.
