Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using PDFemWord.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PDFemWord, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. The service

PDFemWord provides browser-based document utilities. The current PDF-to-Word converter extracts text from a PDF and creates a DOCX file. Results can vary depending on the structure and quality of the source document.

3. Your documents and responsibilities

4. Conversion results

We do not guarantee that a converted file will be complete, accurate, editable in every application, or identical in appearance to the original PDF. Formatting, tables, columns, images, fonts and page breaks may change. Scanned PDFs may require OCR and may not be supported by the current converter.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the website available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued without notice.

6. Intellectual property

The website's original branding, text, design and code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the website for its intended purpose, but may not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit website materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

7. Disclaimer and limitation

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDFemWord is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or decisions made solely on the basis of a converted document. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Third-party services

The website may rely on third-party libraries, hosting, fonts or other services. We are not responsible for the independent terms or practices of those providers.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
